Mardi Gras

We once again had a fabulous Mardi Gras.  Although our pictures are sparse compared to all we did, here are a few to get the idea:

waiting for Daddy & Pops to come on Momus Thursday

Martin's cousins Beth & Tim were here to help

 and Ellie!

 and Marcy (my soon-to-be sister!)

 There's Daddy!!!

The next day Tripp & Ashton both had parades at their schools.

Tripp was in the band with his buds!

Ashton (& Liam who tagged along) were throwing beads to their friends

 So fun!!

We had a blast the Saturday of Mardi Gras when the weather was so nice!

 and Sunday

Ashton with Simms & Eleanor Hardin

Then Papa & Cher Cher came!  After a fun Proteus luncheon on Monday, we made it out to see Martin & Uncle David ride!  It was chilly, but we had fun!

Here's Papa with Ashton & Mary Cate & Wills Brewster

 Papa with Tripp & Liam

 Cher Cher & Ashton

Cher Cher & Papa, the ladder carrier!  Thank you!!!

It was freezing and raining for Mardi Gras Day.  Pops and Papa rode in Rex, but unfortunately no pictures were taken.  This just means Papa and Cher Cher must come back!!!
